Lorry driver injured in road crash
Lorry driver injured in road crash
Police and emergency services were called to the two-vehicle collision on the A3075 at Rejerrah, near Newquay, at around 5.30am.
The crash between the lorry and Mazda Bongo took place at the side entrance to the Penhale Camp, near to the Perranporth Sand Dunes.
The driver of the 7.5 tonne bread lorry suffered a broken arm in the crash and was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital at Treliske.
The driver of the Mazda, meanwhile, was not injured.
A police spokesman this morning said the road at Goonhavern was closed and drivers are advised to avoid the area until the crash scene was cleared.
He added that there was ice and snow in the area of the crash.

mp3 I have caved
Right this is it A mill stone moment I have always strived to source the CD for music that I like (not happy with copies), and have always avoided MP3 download only and treated it as a flim flam con. But tonight whilst listening to a stream of the new Dreadzone album I was also listening to the new Massive Attack CD which has a version of download only mixes. I then stumbled across a Doves live EP, which is only available on i tunes..... What can you do, you can only fight new technology for a limited amount of time, thankfully CD's are fading out at the same time as my hearing, so I shouldn't notice the difference. The thing is I went through the same anguish with vinyl and never got over it really. What's next?

Had to rush to the station today. Jen dropped me in after her night shift. I managed to get the train with a minute to spare. Was on a new train that had tvs on the back of the seats with pre recorded programmes such as BBC documentaries, comedy shows, sport and loads of entertainment. I watched the sopranoes on my iPhone. Was in HMV in Oxford street and saw the whole series for £60 very tempted.
Have to go now films just started.
