Lorry driver injured in road crash
Police and emergency services were called to the two-vehicle collision on the A3075 at Rejerrah, near Newquay, at around 5.30am.
The crash between the lorry and Mazda Bongo took place at the side entrance to the Penhale Camp, near to the Perranporth Sand Dunes.
The driver of the 7.5 tonne bread lorry suffered a broken arm in the crash and was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital at Treliske.
The driver of the Mazda, meanwhile, was not injured.
A police spokesman this morning said the road at Goonhavern was closed and drivers are advised to avoid the area until the crash scene was cleared.
He added that there was ice and snow in the area of the crash.
